The square opening is the most commonly used opening shape in the aggregate industry. Our square openings have more stringent manufacturing tolerances as ASTM woven mesh standards. These "tightest" manufacturing opening tolerances extend the wear life of the screen cloth and produce accurately sized aggregates.

Long openings help keep sticky or wet material flowing freely. The slot weaving holds wires securely yet premits slight vibration to keep openings clear.

Certain materials are blinding or pegging due to their humidity, plasticity or shape. This considerably reduces the production capacity of the screen and increases the downtime of the machine.
